Congratulations to our Family Works Resolution Service Manager Timothy McMichael who was named Mediator of the Year at the prestigious New Zealand Law Awards on November 23.
Kay studied for her Law Degree at Waikato University, graduating with First Class Honours. Kay is a qualified Mediator and frequently leads Family Dispute Resolution Mediations. The Family Court appoints Kay to act for children in family disputes. In 2011 Kay received the Family Law Award and in 2012 Kay received the New Zealand Litigation and Dispute Resolution Award at the annual New Zealand Law Awards.
When Kay is not at work, she cherishes time with her family and walking the dog. In the winter she can often be found on the mountain, skiing.
Jessica is an Associate Family Disputes Resolution Mediator registered with Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand [AMINZ]. She holds a Specialist Family Violence accreditation with Resolution Institute of New Zealand and Ministry of Justice. She is committed to supporting families, couples and individuals from all walks of life. She is collaborative in her approach and believes that respectful and constructive communication gives permission to resolving disputes and removing constraints within relationships. Her work is child inclusive and focuses on the best interest of children.
